Did you miss the NCSEA webinar in January? Not to worry, NCEES Chief Officer of Examinations Jason J. Gamble, P.E., will give a FREE presentation on the PE Structural exam transition to computer-based testing (CBT) for SEAW Seattle Chapter!
The PE Structural exam will be administered in pencil-and-paper format for the last time in October 2023. It is scheduled to launch in its computer-based format in 2024. This presentation aims to provide a brief history of the PE Structural Exam, present its new format, and compare it to the existing format.

Jason J. Gamble is a native of Georgetown, SC. graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer with 24 years of experience. He began his career in the private sector as a structural engineer. In private practice, Mr. Gamble designed structures for industrial facilities such as steel mills and sawmills and commercial/retail facilities such as malls, churches, schools, fire stations, grocery stores and restaurants. He estimates that he is responsible for the structural design of well over 2 million square feet of retail over his career. Mr. Gamble has also served in the public sector with the South Carolina Department of Transportation. While there, he supervised a unit responsible for maintaining over 1,400 miles of roadway and their respective bridges along with the management of 95 employees and a $6-million-dollar annual budget.
