Paul Brallier -- honored as 2019 Engineer of the Year along with Joyce Lem -- has served for 20+ years on the SEAW Disaster Preparedness and Response Committee. He formerly took part in the Washington Urban Search and Rescue Task Force. In 2011, he traveled to Sendai, Japan, to observe the effects of the Great Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami.
